Privacy policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains what the Kardiá CPR website and our booking system collect, why, who handles it, and the choices you have. Kardiá CPR is run by KARDIA CPR, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("we").
What we collect
When you visit the site:
- Basic request data that every website receives, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps it in its logs.
- On the live site, Google Analytics records how the site is used. The Google Analytics section below says what it collects.
When you book a class, the booking form asks for:
- Your name as it should print on your card, your email address and your phone number.
- The class you chose, and your agreement to the booking policy.
- Whether you want texts about your booking, and whether you want review requests by text (two optional boxes).
- Your payment. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your full card number goes to them, never to us.
When you send a question or a group request, the contact form asks for your name, email, phone, what you need, any details you add, and whether we may text you about it (an optional box).
When you message us through the chat window (the chat button on the site), it asks for your name, your phone number, your message, and whether we may text you (an optional box).
When you call us, our phone system keeps your number and the time of your call.
Besides the booking system, we keep paper and digital class records.
How we use it
- To hold your seat, take payment and send your booking confirmation, reminders and cancel and reschedule links.
- To report your class to the certifying body so your card can be issued.
- To answer your questions, chat messages, group requests and missed calls.
- If you ticked the box in the chat window, to text you about our classes, class dates and offers.
- To ask for a review after your class.
- To see which pages are read, so we can make the site clearer.
The messages a student receives: a booking confirmation, a reminder two days before class, a reminder two hours before class, a thank-you after class, a review request soon after (with follow-ups if you have not left a review yet), and a note if a booking is cancelled. They come by email. If you ticked the booking texts box, the confirmation and both reminders also come by text. If you ticked the review texts box, review requests come by text as well as email.
Who handles it for us
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel), which runs our booking calendar, emails, texts, phone line and chat window, and receives what you send through the contact form and the chat window.
- The certifying body for your course: the American Heart Association, through the Training Center that issues the cards for our American Heart Association classes, or HSI. They receive your name and email to issue your card.
- Stripe, our payment processor, for payments.
- Vercel, which hosts the site, and Google, which runs Google Analytics.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
Text messages
We text you about a booking or a request only if you tick an optional texts box. The booking form has two: one for messages about your booking, and one for review requests after class. Each works on its own, and whatever you do not tick comes by email only. The one on the contact form is for messages about your request. The one in the chat window is for texts about your question and promotional texts about our classes, class dates and offers, which may be sent by automated means. If you call us and we miss your call, we send one text to the number you called from, so you can reply with what you need. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile phone numbers and text message consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Google Analytics
On the live site we use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to see which pages are read and how the site is used. It sets a first-party cookie that holds a random identifier, and it collects:
- The address of the page you are on, the page you came from and the page title.
- Browser and device details, such as browser type, language and screen size.
- Your approximate location (city, region and country), estimated from your IP address.
- Activity on the site, such as the pages you view and how long you spend on them.
When Google Analytics runs on a page you visit, your browser sends Google the page address and your IP address. Google uses the IP address to estimate your general location and to protect the service, and Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store it.
We use no advertising features and no Google signals. Google Analytics does not load at all for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland.
Google Analytics keeps user-level and event-level data for 14 months. That setting does not delete reports that show only totals.
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services
To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Other cookies
The booking calendar and the chat window come from HighLevel and may set their own cookies or browser storage when they load. The contact form is part of this site and sets no cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records as long as we need them to run classes, answer questions about a card and keep business records the law requires. Student records stay in our booking system for as long as we use it, and we delete a student's records when the student asks us to. Google Analytics data is kept as the Google Analytics section above says.
Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Students must be 13 or older, and a parent or guardian books for anyone under 18.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can stop emails and texts at any time. Contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, we update this page and the date it was last changed.
